Qualogy adds Oracle Exadata to Demo Center

Published on: Category: News

Organisations interested in discovering the Oracle Engineered concept are welcome to stop by the Qualogy Demo Center, where they can test prototypes and carry out performance benchmarks in an optimised environment.

The proof-of-concept has been available for Oracle Exalogic for some time now, with Exadata being the latest addition. The only real difference between the two technologies is that Exalogic has been optimised for use with Oracle middleware and applications and Exadata has been optimised for Oracle database environments.

Oracle Engineered Systems delivers high-quality datacentre performance, reliability and scalability. The fast Exadata software release allows for virtualisation with Oracle VM for both cloud deployments and multi-tenancy consolidation.

‘We’ve been using an Oracle Exalogic Elasticloud machine since 2011,’ says Qualogy’s Nilesh Bishesar. ‘By adding Exadata, we hope to strengthen our position as an Oracle expert that supports clients and partners across the entire stack, from applications to disks. To do so, we’ve hired dedicated Exa-experts who help our clients install, set up and manage Oracle Engineered Systems such as Oracle Exadata, Oracle Exalogic and Oracle Exalytics.’

I've worked with Qualogy as a Communications Officer since early 2015. In addition to producing a wide range of media, like brochures, web texts, quotes and flyers, I support the management team with their MarCom and AMC strategy and am closely involved with the website www.wekenbijqualogy.com, particularly with supporting bloggers. To me, Qualogy is a vibrant company consisting of interesting colleagues with different nationalities. No two days are the same. It's great to be able to reflect that on the platform!
